Wheeling and dealing in the historic Canfield Casino in Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, is how the Saratoga Springs Lions Club raises money to fund programs related to sight, hearing, diabetes and youth.

Our next Lions Club Casino open to the public will be held Friday, February 6, 2009. Admission is $5 per person or the donation of a pair of eyeglasses or a hearing aid. Black Jack tables, a craps table, Best Hand Poker, a money wheel and a horse wheel fill the ballroom of the historic Casino, which was built in the 1860s and is owned by the City of Saratoga Springs.

The Lions casino operations are licensed by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board. Lillian’s Restaurant prepares the complimentary hors d’oeuvres that are served in the parlor; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the room-length bar.

Additionally, the Saratoga Springs Lions Club contracts to operate private casino nights for individual groups, conferences and conventions meeting in Saratoga Springs.
