Annual, multi-faceted Health Fair open to all residents in the community.

Sponsorship of the Saratoga Hard of Hearing Support Group.

Sponsorship of Gliding Stars, an ice skating program for the handicapped and visually-impaired.

Collecting old eyeglasses and hearing aids for distribution in Third World countries.

Major financial support for the Lions Eye Institute in Albany.

Sponsorship of the SightFirst Program to prevent blindness.

Sponsorship of a group of Lions cyclists for the annual Tour du Cure to benefit the American Diabetes Association.

Sponsorship of various teams to foster good sportsmanship and a spirit of cooperation among the community’s youth.

That is the guiding principle that unites the membership of the Saratoga Springs Lions Club and Lions Clubs in general. All funds raised by the Saratoga Springs Lions Club’s Casino Nights, Golf Tournament, and Duathlon go to support these and other programs.
